Sketching at Omaru Creek

On a sunny afternoon Rooms 16, 17 & 18 all went down to Omaru creek to do some sketching. Finally we arrived we had to get a piece of paper and a pencil. I had a buddy christian we were sketching next to Damien & Isaaka. I saw Shirquera’s drawing it was a cool sketch. Christian and I were drawing the creek the trees and the ducks. I saw ducks in the creek the went underneath the water and came back up.


I felt something underneath me and it was duck poo. I was discussed what I was Sitting on. Christian was like ew poop so we sat somewhere else where there is no more poop. I only had a little sketch so I went looking around to find some ideas. Wait I forgot to draw some rocks on the sketch. Then after a good sketch we went back to school.

Going to Oamaru Creek

On a lovely tuesday morning in Mr Somerville’s literacy group. We all went to go for a walk to Oamaru Creek. When we were nearly there we had to cross a bridge to get to the other side. We were almost close to the creek I nearly touched it. Meleane was taking the photos. We had to find rubbish but not pick it up.

There was a long footpath away from another bridge. Then after that we crossed a bridge but it was longer than the first one. There were ducks in the creek and we all saw big rocks in the water. Shirquera and I we walked the furthest. We climbed up a hill

and we saw a cool view out there we even saw the pools. Then after a good walk we went back to school.

Keis' Christmas

In Two more weeks it’s going to be christmas. I’m going to invite my whole family. They're going to bring presents i’m buying the presents for my cousins too. My family and I are having a roast chicken and some vegetables. For desert where having ambrosia and lollies even a banana cake that’s written on merry christmas.

After that we all are going to go to the pt england beach and play around. We will bring our togs and we will splash in the water and do coffen bombs. When it’s about 9.pm we will all head back home and have a open our presents.

When we get back home we will open them I hope  I get money and lots of glowing sparkles even swag pants . The next day we're going to the waiwera pools even rainbow zen and the hoyts. To watch arthur the christmas. Then after that we all have carls junior or MCDonalds or Burger king and go home.

Keis' Netbook Reflection

• I like my netbook because it’s easier to writie on. But on the paper sometimes you can lose your pencil and book.

• What frustrates me is when I make a mistake on the paper and you might not have a rubber. I get frustrated whenever I see another sight.  
  
  

Swimming

Last Tuesday the year 5’s went to room sixteen and went swimming. When we got our togs Mr Somerville said “go and get changed you have three minutes if you are not ready in three minutes you are not swimming”. when all of the girls were ready Mr Somerville said “lets go”.

As we were getting into the pool it was getting wavy because people were diving into the pool. WHen we got into the pool it was really  cold.  Mr Somerville said lets play a game but there was no ball but Broneq and Sarah had a ball for us to play with.

When we were playing the game Mr Somerville though the ball too far. It hit the ground of the outside of the pool. Lee was going to get the ball and Yahh!!! everyone said we carried on playing the game.Last Tuesday the year 5’s went to room sixteen and went swimming. Swimming

Last Tuesday the year 5’s went to room sixteen and went swimming. When we got our togs Mr Somerville said “go and get changed you have three minutes if you are not ready in three minutes you are not swimming”. when all of the girls were ready Mr Somerville said “lets go”.

Haunted House on Halloween

There once was a boy named Rayden he was 10 years old and he was moving and tomorrow was halloween. When Rayden saw his house he was stoked but there was a cemetery at the back of the house. A little girl named Susan died in the house because someone killed her with a chainsaw. When he saw his room there was cobwebs and creepy crawlies Susan died in this room Rayden is going to sleep in da room for the rest of his life.


When it was finally halloween he was happy he went trick or treating and he was dressed up on scary movie 1. But he heard a noise Rayden follow me Rayden. Mum said to Rayden stop making that noise and cut it out. Rayden said its not me mum mum said WHAT!!!  Come on son let's go trick or cheating rayden said no thanks i’m going to cheek out that noise.The end.
